Courteney Levet grew up in Northeast Ohio. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a major in Creative Writing and a double minor of PR and Studio Art.
She started out her college career at Cuyahoga Community College, where she was first published in the 2012 edition of the literary journal, Breakwall. While attending Baldwin Wallace University, Courteney had several short stories selected for publication in the university’s literary publication, The Mill, and served on the selection committee for the 2015-16 academic year.
Throughout her life, Courteney has been an avid camper and loves the outdoors, a fact that often finds its way into her stories, both in the way of inspiration and knowledge. She is also a visual artist, sculpting and drawing being her preferred media. As a reader and writer, Courteney enjoys the possibilities found in the science fiction and fantasy genres, particularly if there are dragons and post-apocalyptic settings involved.
